As I have one, I can help you.
Indeed the Totomat was the most ingenious coin tosser ever made and contributed alot
to the ascent of Günter Wulff.
Before this machine, the payout for the owner was just when all columns where filled up, the
following coins from this point run directly in the pocket from the owner. But this happend
seldom as some small winnings always occured.
What Wulff did, is that the payed coin landed in a winning situation every time in the pocket
of the machine owner. Exception from 1DM, last column and 10 winning coins.
So at mostly every winning of the player, one coin was for the owner, very commercial system.
In the case of a left win of 1DM, 4 coins where payed out by the levers plus the coin descending
the red column, continuing to the wheel of reserve at the left, and paying out another 5 coins by
the wheel, under the condition that minimum 5 coins where in the reserve.
If all columns, so also the reserve where filled up, the incoming loosing coin ran through the most
right white column and gave back the coin to the player. Next loosing coin will not return, as it
will fill up the place, but overnext will return again.
A very clever system for a coin tosser, as the player dont care the money payed during his winnings
to the owner of the machine and appreciate an even possible return of the coin on overfill. One of
the reasons that Wulff survived as other filed for bankrupty.

The corner kick coin comes out from the slot directly over reserve and the "Toto" bar.
So, if there is place in the reserve, it will just fall inside. If reserve is full, it will beheaven
as a 10pfg loosing coin and jump in the right, white column, so 1 for the player, 1 for
the owner. Difference with the -.10 column, paying back the player for his put, it will
first go to the reserve. The two -.20 gains jump both in the second white column
from the right. Blue column is just the overfill payback.
