Sorry for the English. My German is no good in writing unfortunately.
I am looking for information on this machine. I haven't been able to find anything on it. However I suspect that it is German (dispite the name "Queen" - which may not be original to the machine).
Any information you have on this machine would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi Tom,
Could it be that there are phillips screws in the playfield ?
So, always possible that a prewar machine was modified later.

It has definitely been fixed a few times over the years. I didn't notice any Phillips-head screws though. Perhaps it's just the reflection of the tiny brass spheres you're seeing.
Either way. Any idea who made it? I can't find any information about this machine in any of the books i have.

Hi Tom.
Could you measure the length and width of the coin-slot or the coins/token itself? This could be helpful to figure out the origin of your machine.

It will accept a coin of around 17-18 mm in diameter and 1,7 mm in thickness. There we no coins or tokens in the machine. So don't know what was used.

I got a gold of some old 5Pf from 1880-1920. As I understand they are the same diameter as the 1924 ones, only a little thinner. Either way, they fit fine in the coin slot and goes throught the validator. Obviously the machine doesn't really work at all at the moment (needs to be restored), but it would work fine with these coins, once restored.
Many other coins from the same period would work as well. Including the danish and swedish "10 øre" which was common in machines from that era.
Having looked at the screw-holes used for the "Queen" sign. It doesn't seem original to the machine (though cant be 100% certain). I have however noticed 4 small pin holes in the bottom half of the machine. So clearly the machine had something there at one point - a big enamel sign most likely - similar to the Zeppelin game. It would properly also have had it's original name on it.
Guess I will have to improvise at little bit in order to restore this machine. I've asked around and noone really seems to know what it looked like originally. Hopefully someone will see this post in the future and recognize it.
Thanks for you help. Fingers crossed that something will turn up.
